The mother-child bond during lockdown. Clinical picture of a family behind closed doors and Oedipal threats
- 2022.

This article analyses the mother-child relationship and the effects of lockdown on Oedipal fantasies. The study is based on our experience working as a psychologist in a Medical and Psychological Centre and we seek more specifically to analyse the clinical case of a young boy and his mother met before and after lockdown. After this period, the child refers to it as a nostalgic moment, where the (social and family) third party, previously seen as a possible separator, was set aside. This opens out to a discussion of hypotheses as to the impact of this closeness and underscores the threat of the Oedipal fantasy that may have hurt the child.
