The Double Moon Test in Family Therapy
- 2005.
40
Based on a clinical case, this study attempts to underscore the possibility of using a graphic projective test in family therapy that allows family members to confront their deepest feelings and fears at a symbolic level. The “double moon” test, described in the clinical case, has been designed specifically for complex family situations marked in various ways by themes of loss, separation, and absence, either due to a critical event or to crucial life transitions, in which family members have to redefine the boundaries of their relationships.
