N2  - The French departmental councils play a central role in the path of women victims of domestic violence. In the maisons de la solidarité (houses of solidarity) as well as in the child welfare services, social actors are confronted with this question. In Aveyron, particular attention and specific innovative actions are devoted to this issue. We gave the floor to Claire Gabriac. Through her missions as Domestic Violence Advisor and Coordinator of the “Vulnerable Adults Scheme,” she allows us to understand one of the forms of commitment of the departmental councils
