TY - BOOK AU - Hermand,Marie-Hélène TI - Cross-border data sharing: Analysis of media-based epidemiological surveillance systems PY - 2023///. N1 - 19 N2 - This article looks at the process of territorializing and presenting epidemiological data on a cross-border scale. After identifying the discourses that legitimize the field of cross-border epidemiology, we study a corpus of nine cross-border epidemiological surveillance media devices. Discursive and semio-pragmatic analysis is complemented by interviews. The results highlight the challenges of cross-border sharing of epidemiological data, underscore the proliferation of device names, identify a semiotic organizing principle, and shed light on the underlying logics of the players involved. In conclusion, we take an in-depth look at two issues: informational imbalance and the interaction of specialized skills UR - https://shs.cairn.info/journal-les-enjeux-de-l-information-et-de-la-communication-2022-3-page-21?lang=en&redirect-ssocas=7080 ER -
