N2  - RésuméÀ la suite de Jean Starobinski lui-même, on a souvent mis l’accent sur le lien entre le regard (« œil vivant », « transparence ») et l’analyse des textes. Pourtant l’attention au sentiment intime du corps, au champ du toucher, à la valeur « tactile » des mots, à la gestualité, s’élargissant du geste suspendu du peintre aux « gestes » sociaux de largesse, d’invitation, tient aussi une grande place dans cette œuvre ; c’est ce versant que l’on a choisi de parcourir; Following upon Jean Starobinski’s work itself, the link between looking (“the living eye”, “transparency”) and textual analysis has often been made. Yet attention to the intimacy of bodily perception, to the field of touch, to the “tactile” value of words, to the body’s movement, widening out from attention to the painter’s suspended moves to the social “gestures” of generosity or invitation, also takes up a large proportion of this work, which is here explored from these perspectives
