Au travers d’une enquête sociologique portant sur les ateliers de Travail qui relie, cet article explore sous quelles conditions la reconnexion à la terre peut contribuer à une dynamique plus large de changement social. Il révèle l’importance des modalités relationnelles qui y sont suscitées et valorisées, tout en pointant la nécessité d’articuler l’expérience intime à un positionnement politique allant dans le sens d’une écologie sensible radicale, émancipatrice et ouverte à l’altérité; By valuing the senses, emotions and imagination, affective ecology aims to trigger, nourish, or support environmental commitment. Through a sociological investigation into the Work that Reconnects workshops, this article explores under what conditions reconnection to the earth can contribute to a broader dynamic of social change. It reveals the importance of the relational modalities that are cultivated and valued, while pointing out the need to articulate the intimate experience with a political positioning in the direction of an affective ecology that is radical, emancipatory, and open to alterity
