Le communiste allemand Willi Münzenberg (1889-1940) et l’Internationale communiste sont les pivots de l’histoire de cette organisation de « compagnons de route », acteur transnational de l’anti-impérialisme de l’entre-deux-guerres. L’article s’intéresse notamment au rôle joué par la Ligue dans le façonnement des mouvements de résistance transnationaux contre le colonialisme et l’impérialisme; The article charts the transnational connections of the sympathizing organization the League Against Imperialism and for National Independence (LAI, 1927-1937), and its historical legacy. The German communist Willi Münzenberg (1889-1940) and the Communist International are pivotal for the LAI’s history as a transnational actor of interwar anti-imperialism.
