N2  - Cet article se propose d’analyser les relations tissées entre deux processus qui agissent sur le corps des enfants et des jeunes dans les sociétés contemporaines: la transformation de l’attention en un bien précieux de la scène socio-politique actuelle et l’expansion de la prise de psychotropes pour soigner et/ou optimiser la performance attentionnelle. C’est à l’entrelacs de ces processus que nous situons le TDAH et le méthylphénidate. Dans cet article, nous nous intéressons à l’expérience de deux adolescents vivant dans des pays distincts, le Brésil et la France, mais partageant l’expérience d’avoir reçu le diagnostic de TDAH durant l’enfance et de prendre le méthylphénidate pendant plus de 3 ans. Dans l’expérience de Nathan et de Pablo, les polarisations et les dualités cèdent la place à des points de vue plus flexibles et poreux, sensibles à une perspective écologique de l’attention et des effets du médicament; This article aims to analyze the relationships between two processes that affect the bodies of children and teenagers in contemporary societies: the transformation of attention into a precious asset of the current socio-political scene and the expansion of taking psychotropic drugs to heal and / or optimize attentional performance. It is in the intertwining of these processes that we situate ADHD and methylphenidate. For this article, we give priority to the analysis of interviews conducted with two teenagers, Pablo and Nathan, who share the fact that they were diagnosed with ADHD when they were children and used methylphenidate for more than 3 years. In Nathan and Pablo’s experiment, polarizations and dualities give way to more flexible and porous points of view, sensitive to an ecological perspective of the attention and effects of methylphenidate
