Dans ses Sermons de 1554, il s’en tient à une application morale, le redressement de l’Église dans l’histoire ; dans l’ Institution, c’est l’interprétation eschatologique qui prévaut : Ézéchiel parlait de la résurrection finale. Nous proposons donc l’exposé de ces interprétations et une évaluation critique. In his Sermons delivered in 1554, he offered a moral application, which consists in the rising of the Church within history. In the Institutes prevails the eschatological interpretation: Ezekiel spoke about the final resurrection.
