<br/><br/> In 1928, the Labour and Socialist International (LSI) Congress had its colonial policy on the agenda. I had not been so since 1907. From its inception to its outcome, the Congress attests to the place of colonial issues in the PS-SFIO (the French Socialist Party) and the British Labour Party, as well as to the European echoes of their national – and imperial – situations.  En 1928, le congrès de l’Internationale ouvrière et socialiste (IOS) à Bruxelles inscrit à son ordre du jour la politique socialiste vis-à-vis de la question coloniale, une première depuis 1907. La préparation du congrès, son déroulement comme ses lendemains témoignent de la place occupée par la question coloniale dans le PS-SFIO et le Labour Party britannique, deux formations inscrivant leur action dans les principaux empires coloniaux du temps, ainsi que ses échos à l’échelle européenne.
