N2  - Les régimes d’Europe centrale tentés par l’autoritarisme et le souverainisme s’appuient sur le retour à un passé mythique, qui s’articule paradoxalement à une reprise de certaines pratiques des temps communistes. D’autres dimensions caractérisent leur glissement hors de l’état de droit démocratique : rapport aux médias, à l’opposition… Ces régimes vont à l’impasse. Seules les sociétés civiles et l’Union européenne peuvent s’opposer à une dynamique dangereuse bien au-delà de ces pays; The draw of authoritarianism and souverainism for certain central European states has its foundations in the idea of a return to a mythical past, which in practice, paradoxically, has a lot in common with Communist-era practices. These States’ relationships with the media and with the opposition are further indications of a slip away from a state of democratic rights. These regimes are heading for stalemate. Only civil societies and the European Union can tackle this dangerous dynamic which goes beyond these countries’ borders
