N2  - Les votes relatifs aux Traité sur la stabilité, la coordination et la gouvernance (TSCG) et au Mécanisme européen de stabilité (MES) en 2012 ont permis à un certain nombre de parlementaires conservateurs français et allemands de s’opposer à leur parti en matière de politique européenne. En étudiant de manière comparative les processus ayant conduit à leur opposition ainsi que les conséquences sur leur carrière politique de cette prise de position, nous montrons que cette opposition intrapartisane se focalise en France et en Allemagne sur des enjeux distincts et que la discipline partisane en Allemagne conduit à un encadrement, voire à une exclusion, de la parole eurocritique; What is the Price of Opposition? Characteristics and Consequences of Eurocriticism among French and German MP’s in the UMP, CDU/ CSU and FDP Parties The 2012 votes on the European Fiscal Compact and the European Stability Mechanism enabled a few French and German MPs to contest their party’s position on this matter. We conduct a comparative analysis of the processes which led to these parliamentarians’ opposition and of the consequences of their votes on their political career. We show that these intra-partisan oppositions are focused on different stakes in France and Germany and that, in Germany, partisan discipline led to the control – and in some cases to the exclusion – of dissidents
