N2  - Après avoir distingué différents sens du mot « constitution », l’article défend la possibilité et l’intérêt d’une interprétation « scientifique », qui vise à établir les significations des énoncés constitutionnels. Entendue de la sorte, l’interprétation procède de la même manière à l’égard de la constitution ou de tout autre texte. S’il existe une spécificité de l’interprétation constitutionnelle, elle n’apparaît que dans le cadre d’une notion beaucoup plus confuse, où l’« interprétation » désigne n’importe quelle argumentation qui invoque la constitution; The article first distinguishes between the various meanings of the word “constitution” and argues in favour of the possibility and the interest of a “scientific” analysis, aiming to establish the meanings of the constitutional statements. In such an approach, the interpretation proceeds in a similar fashion with the constitution as with any other text.
