Les tentatives de discussion entre militaires des deux pays n’ont pas pu aboutir pour des raisons politiques; Siachen is a mountainous, inhospitable region nevertheless disputed between Pakistan and India. Altitude-induced conditions lead to major operation constraints for soldiers. Discussion attempts between military personnel from the two countries were not able to succeed for political reasons
