Hélas, l’impéritie de la classe politique marquée par le clanisme et la corruption a entraîné le pays dans une spirale négative. L’aide massive de la Chine n’est donc pas dénuée d’intérêt mais engage ce pays sous la coupe de Pékin.  After the dissolution of the USSR, Kyrgyzstan seemed to have chosen a virtuous route to its future. Alas the failures of the clannish and corrupt political class have driven the country into a downward spiral. Massive Chinese aid is therefore not without interest but it subjects the country to the control of Beijing.
