N2  - À partir de la guerre du Golfe en 1991, l’Armée de l’air va connaître un nouveau théâtre d’opérations, obligeant à accroître ses capacités de projection. Ce sera aussi l’opportunité de travailler en coalition sous commandement américain et donc d’accroître l’interopérabilité de nos forces aériennes et de contribuer à renforcer notre présence diplomatique; Beginning with the 1991 Gulf War, the French Air Force gained a new theatre of operations which required it to increase its projection capability. It was also the opportunity to work in a US-led coalition and hence to improve the interoperability of our air forces and to contribute to boosting our diplomatic presence
