N2  - RésuméCet article situe la recherche psychanalytique par rapport à l’histoire de la psychologie tout en examinant l’influence réciproque. Puis, une présentation de la méthodologie suit telle qu’elle caractérise la recherche dans la psychanalyse ainsi qu’une réflexion sur la particularité de l’objet – l’inconscient et la conception du temps. Ensuite, l’article retrace l’évolution de la recherche en psychanalyse et définit la place de celle-ci dans l’université en se référant aux prévisions de Freud. La description du fonctionnement de la direction de recherche au sein de l’École doctorale servira comme illustration. Enfin, ceci se termine par un exemple émanant de la recherche sur la psychothérapie psychanalytique : la psychopathologie phénoménologique des psychoses, des états limites, des troubles neurologiques et d’autres pathologies déficitaires; This article attempts to position research into psychoanalysis within the framework of the history of psychology and the reciprocal influences between these two domains. Then, the methodological practices that characterise research into psychoanalysis are presented along with reflections on the singularity of the object – the unconscious and the conception of time.This article then goes on to trace the evolution of research into psychoanalysis and defines the place of the latter within Higher Education with reference to what Freud had himself foreseen. A description of the way management of this research is led in a Doctoral School will illustrate these comments. Finally, a concrete example from research into psychoanalytical psychotherapy is discussed : the phenomenological psychopathology of psychoses, extreme states, neurological disorders and other deficiency-based pathologies
