N2  - À partir d’une clinique du secourisme associatif dans son rapport au médical, et en particulier à ce dispositif d’images médicales qu’est scope (avec l’électrocardiogramme), se déploie la problématique de la confrontation du sujet face à une image énigmatique. Le tracé sur l’écran ne peut-il s’envisager comme métaphore de la vie et de la mort ? Là où l’indicible peut plonger le profane dans une violence du voir, la parole médicale s’institue dès lors comme une potentialité de re-symbolisation. L’urgence des interventions de premiers secours, en sa temporalité si spécifique, interroge une certaine éthique du regard; Looking at the relationship between the health-care sector and community-trained first-aid workers, especially regarding the use of medical imaging such as the cardioscope (with a cardiogram) introduces the problem of the subject’s confrontation with an enigmatic image. Can we approach the graph on the screen as a metaphor of life and death? In a space where the unspeakable can plunge the layperson into a violence of the seen, medical speech emerges as a potential of re-symbolization. The urgent nature of first-aid interventions and their particular temporality raise the question of a certain ethics of the gaze
