N2  - RésuméL’épidémie de sida a été caractérisée par une forte mobilisation des associations concernant l’évaluation des médicaments. Cette mobilisation marque une rupture importante des rapports qui prévalaient jusqu’alors entre sphères scientifiques et sphères publiques, entre profanes et experts dans le domaine de la santé. Notre intervention analyse le rôle important joué par l’État, au début des années quatre-vingt-dix, dans la création d’un groupe interassociatif qui va s’engager dans des dispositifs de concertation auprès des firmes pharmaceutiques et des agences publiques de recherche et d’enregistrement des produits de santé. Elle montre plus précisément les intérêts réciproques que se sont portés une agence publique et des associations, ainsi que les inflexions qu’elles ont dû concéder au cours de leurs interactions; The AIDS epidemic has been characterised by a strong mobilization of those associations concerned in the approval of drugs. Such mobilization marks a major break with the relations earlier prevailing between the scientific communities and the public spheres, and between laymen and experts in the health field. This study analyses the key role played by the State in the early 1990’s, in the creation of an inter-associative group which has worked for dialogue and agreement between the pharmaceutical firms and those public agencies for researching and approving health products. It highlights more precisely the mutual interests which any public agency and the associations share together, as well as those changes which they have had to concede during their interactions
