N2  - La Bible commence par affirmer que toute filiation vient de Dieu. Elle ne concerne pas seulement le « coup d’envoi » que représente la création des humains. Chaque humain se découvre en effet « façonné » par Dieu, voulu, prévu, annoncé. Comment dès lors penser les engendrements, les tôledôt, dont les déploiements fleurissent dans la Genèse notamment ? Paradoxalement, les stériles qui malgré tout enfantent donnent la norme de toute naissance humaine en mettant en lumière l’initiative divine. Mais entrer dans la filiation n’est ni un dû ni un acquis : un acquiescement est nécessaire, une disposition à cheminer. Femmes et hommes ne sont pas situés de la même manière sur l’« axe » de la filiation : les unes témoignent d’un Dieu Père, les autres ont à devenir fils-devant-Dieu; The Bible begins with the affirmation that all filiation comes from God. This affirmation is not concerned only with the starting point of human creation. All humans discover themselves as « fashioned » by God : wanted, planned, and announced. How then should we think about the « generations », the toledot, that appear often in Genesis in particular ? Paradoxically, sterile couples who nevertheless produce children establish the norm of all human birth by highlighting the role of divine initiative. But entering into the process of filiation is neither a duty nor something automatically given : an acceptance is necessary, a willingness to go forward. Women and men are not located in the same way on the « axis » of filiation : the first testify to a God who is Father, and the second must become sons before God
