<br/><br/> RéSUMé — L’auteur expose ici le déroulement d’une analyse qui touche à sa fin. La patiente présentait en arrivant un état d’excitation extrême, des conduites autodestructrices répétées et ce qui semblait avoir été une somatisation sérieuse dans son enfance. Très tôt elle se révéla une patiente névrotique à prédominance hystérique. Cela donna lieu à une psychanalyse classique exemplaire malgré sa brièveté.  SUMMARY — The author recounts the progression of an analysis which is coming to an end. The patient presented an extreme state of excitation when she began treatment, repetitive self-destructive behavior and what seemed to have been a serious somatisation from childhood. Very early on, it became clear that she was neurotic and predominantly hysterical. This enable her to have an exemplary classical psychoanalysis in spite of its brevity.  RESUMEN — La autora expone aquí el desarrollo de un análisis que se aproxima a su término. La paciente presentaba al llegar un cuadro de excitación extrema, conductas auto-destructoras repetitivas y lo que parecía haber sido una somatización grave en su infancia. Muy pronto se reveló ser una paciente neurótica en la que predominaban los rasgos histéricos. Esto dió lugar a una cura clásica ejemplar a pesar de su brevedad.  ZUSAMMENFASSUNG — Die Autorin stellt hier den Ablauf einer zu Ende gehenden Analyse vor. Die Patientin befand sich am Anfang in einem Zustand extremer Erregung, mit wiederholt selbstzerstörerischen Verhaltensweisen und Hinweisen auf eine ernstzunehmende Somatisierung in der Kindheit. Sehr bald erwies sie sich als eine neurotische Patientin mit hysterischer Prädominanz. Dies führte zu einer vorbildlichen klassischen Psychoanalyse, trotz ihrer kurzen Dauer.
