N2  - This article offers an analysis of the crisis of the constitutional order set in motion by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). The theoretical and conceptual approach is inspired by the sociology of public action and examines the constitutional order through the lens of public action instruments. By focusing on the choice of instruments and their effects, the article reveals on the one hand, a politicized constitutional order and on the other, a reconfigured constitutional order; Cet article propose une analyse de la crise de l’ordre constitutionnel instauré par la Communauté économique des États de l’Afrique de l’Ouest (CEDEAO). La démarche théorique et conceptuelle est inspirée de la sociologie de l’action publique et aborde l’ordre constitutionnel par le prisme des instruments d’action publique. En mettant la focale sur le choix des instruments et leurs effets, l’article montre d’une part, un ordre constitutionnel politisé et de l’autre, un ordre constitutionnel reconfiguré
