N2  - La popularité durable de la bande dessinée Achille Talon, de Greg, a pu dissimuler sa richesse et sa créativité ; on montre ici que Greg participe à sa façon des courants littéraires de son temps, en déconstruisant la fiction et son personnage et en l’affirmant comme être de papier. Son approche ludique démonte le texte comme l’image et bouleverse les conventions de la fiction, brisant à sa façon la frontière qui sépare le monde du personnage de celui de son lecteur; The enduring popularity of Greg’s Achille Talon cartoon strip might have obscured the richness and ingenuity of its conception. The present paper demonstrates that Greg is engrossed in the literary movements of his time, that he deconstructs both fictions and characters exposing and affirming the artificial nature of the genre. The playful approach taken by Greg unravels the fabric of the comicstrip shaking the conventions governing text and image, blurring, in his own wicked way, the line that divides the world of character from the world of his/her reader
