<br/><br/> L’extase et la mort traversent les couleurs chez Gustave Flaubert. Rouge, noir, blanc et or. Celui-ci emploie ces couleurs à profusion dans La Tentation de saint Antoine, saint Julien l’Hospitalier, Madame Bovary et Salammbô mais aussi dans ses Correspondances. Ce sont les couleurs d’une extase qui se révèleront là, dans la guerre, la destruction, la nuit du péché, la mort, mais aussi, au sein même de la création et des processus d’écriture de G. Flaubert.
