<br/><br/> À travers le cas clinique d’un adolescent confronté à la mort de ses parents, nous allons explorer la fonction de son investissement massif des mondes virtuels et de son avatar héroïque dans ce contexte de deuil. Ce deuil potentiellement traumatique de par sa collusion avec les fantasmes meurtriers œdipiens provoque la tentation d’une fuite dans les mondes virtuels : en incarnant un héros virtuel, les fantasmes d’immortalité et de sauvetage émergent de façon prépondérante, mais à quel prix ?  You can’t kill me ! Embodying a Virtual Super Hero in the Face of the Trauma of Bereavement in Adolescence. This paper retraces the clinical case of a teenager confronted with the death of his parents and explores the role played by his subsequent massive investment in virtual worlds and his own heroic avatar within the framework of bereavement. The bereavement in question was potentially traumatic in that it coincided with murderous Oedipal fantasies, thereby triggering the desire to escape to a virtual world. By embodying a virtual hero, fantasies associated with immortality and saving people overwhelmingly emerged, but at what price ?
