Malgré les morales, les religions, les lois, l’éducation, haine et violence ne cèdent pas de terrain, voire, défendent toujours ignorance et barbarie contre les cultures. Peut-être ont-elles des fonctions psychiques importantes, premières ? Et particulièrement dans la construction de la singularité d’un être, dans son rapport à l’autre, car l’un ne va pas sans l’autre, comme on dit : et c’est peut-être là le point de difficulté où la haine s’offre comme solution très économique. Mais peut-être aussi que haine et violence ont des fonctions psychiques à visée antidépressive ?; Why so much hatred? Despite morals, religions, laws, and education, hatred and violence continue to hold sway; indeed, they still defend ignorance and barbarism against cultures. Perhaps they have important, primary psychic functions? And particularly in the construction of a being’s singularity, in its relationship to the other, for one cannot exist without the other, as we say: and this is perhaps the point of difficulty where hatred offers itself as a very economical solution. But perhaps hatred and violence also have also antidepressive functions?
