N2  - Les scientifiques ont souvent entretenu, au xxe siècle, une relation incestueuse avec la guerre. La guerre du Vietnam n’a pas fait exception mais elle a également suscité un mouvement d’opposition très actif, dans lequel les « intellectuels scientifiques » ont joué un rôle majeur. Quelques-uns se sont engagés dans le développement de coopérations scientifiques durables avec leurs collègues vietnamiens, contribuant ainsi à la construction toujours longue et difficile d’une « paix positive »; The scientists have often had an incestuous relation with war during the 20th century. The Vietnam War did not make an exception but it also aroused a very active antiwar movement, in which the “scientific intellectuals” played a major role. Some made a strong commitment in the development of sustainable scientific cooperation with their Vietnamese counterparts, so contributing to the always long and difficult construction of a “positive peace”
