Le jeu du squiggle, invention de Winnicott, est ici revisité en prenant appui sur l’enseignement de Lacan. À partir d’un cas clinique où se dessinent et s’échangent des tracés, il s’agit d’interroger la conduite d’une cure d’enfant en opposant deux conceptions : l’une invite à une identification de l’analyste à la mère, l’autre pose la séparation comme introduction du manque. Les notions d’objet petit a et d’objet transitionnel y sont explorées à partir des divergences concernant la question du sujet chez ces deux auteurs.

The Squiggle Game: invented by Winnicott, revisited by LacanWinnicott’s Squiggle Game is re-examined in the light of the Lacanian approach to psychoanalysis. A clinical case in which squiggles are drawn and exchanged is discussed, with the aim of showing how the opposition between two formulations – one which favors identification of the psychoanalyst with the mother, and one in which lack is introduced through separation – guides the treatment in a child analysis. The concepts of the “objet petit a” and of the transitional object are explored in terms of the differences in the question of the subject as developed by the two authors.

El juego del squiggle, invención de Winnicott, se revisita aquí apoyándose en la enseñanza de Lacan. A partir de un caso clínico, donde se dibujan y se intercambian trazados, se trata de interrogar la dirección de una cura de niño oponiendo dos concepciones : una invita a una identificación del analista a la madre, y la otra pone la separación como introducción de la falta. Las nociones de objeto a y de objeto transicional se examinan a partir de las divergencias sobre el sujeto en estos dos autores.
