RésuméAvec l’introduction du marché et de la privatisation en Chine, la relation médecin-patient (RMP) change et soulève de nombreuses questions sociales et notamment une crise de confiance. Dans cet article, les auteurs étudient les caractéristiques de la RMP, et analysent l’histoire de ces changements en Chine. Dans une dernière partie, ils expliquent comment la culture chinoise est importante pour reconstruire la RMP et font des propositions pour la réforme du système de soins.

Analyse de l’évolution de la relation médecin-patient en ChineAs China is undergoing marketization and privatization, the doctor-patient relationship (DPR) is changing, posing numerous social problems such as a trust crisis. In this article, the authors look at the characteristics of the DPR, and then present an historical account of the changing features of the Chinese DPR. In the final section, they explain how Chinese traditionalculture is important for rebuilding the DPR in reform-era China and make suggestions for its health care reform.
