RésuméSous des abords parfois légers, les discussions avec de jeunes parents autour des vaccins sont fréquentes à l’arrivée du premier enfant et semblent, quand on s’y attarde, être source d’une ambivalence parfois douloureuse, dissonance probablement majorée par l’extension récente de l’obligation vaccinale. Dans ce contexte, il nous est apparu intéressant d’explorer la façon dont ces jeunes parents s’informent et raisonnent, et d’aller questionner dans un second temps la place du médecin traitant dans leur quête d’informations. L’objectif de ce travail était à court terme de mieux comprendre la réflexion qui structure l’hésitation à propos d’un vaccin et à moyen terme, associé à des travaux ultérieurs, d’améliorer la compréhension partagée entre le médecin de premier recours et des parents inquiets.

In sometimes light surroundings, discussions with young parents about vaccines are frequent upon the arrival of the first child and seem, when we linger there, to be a source of sometimes painful ambivalence, dissonance probably increased by the extension recent vaccination obligation. In this context, it seemed interesting to us to explore the way in which these young parents inform themselves and reason, and then question the place of the attending physician in their quest for information. The objective of this work was in the short term to better understand the thinking that structures the hesitation about a vaccine and in the medium term, associated with subsequent work, to improve the understanding shared between the primary care physician and worried parents
