‪While the expression «research-creation» knows a certain interest in the works carried out in art, the poetics has for almost a century already paid attention to do so rather than for the fact, thus focusing on the establishment of the work rather than on its reception. But what are the methods she summons? How does the study of the creative process by its instigator itself allow to give a new dimension to academic research in the field of arts? And what are the specificities of such an approach? It is to these questions that this reflection proposes to answer.‪

Alors que l’expression « recherche-création » connaît un intérêt certain dans les travaux menés en art, la poïétique a depuis près d’un siècle déjà accordé son attention pour le faire plutôt que pour le fait, s’attardant ainsi sur l’instauration de l’œuvre plutôt que sur sa réception. Mais quelles sont les méthodes qu’elle convoque ? En quoi l’étude du processus de création par son instigateur lui-même permet-elle d’accorder une nouvelle dimension à la recherche académique dans le champ des arts ? Et quelles sont les spécificités d’une telle approche ? C’est à ces questions que la présente réflexion se propose de répondre.
