RésuméLe présent essai n’a d’autre ambition que d’apporter une contribution latérale à la réflexion sur le lien entre la transmission scolaire et la crise de l’autorité, envisagé d’un point de vue philosophique. Le prestige du passé, porteur de tradition, comme l’utopie mobilisatrice de l’avenir ne paraissent plus suffire à autoriser une transmission crédible. Un autre horizon d’attente est à inventer. Adversaires et partisans des réformes pédagogiques récentes en Communauté française de Belgique n’y ont peut-être pas pris garde.

This essay has no more ambition as to bring a lateral contribution to the reflection about the link between school transmission and authority crisis from a philosophical point of view. The prestige of the past, bearer of the tradition, as well as the rallying utopia of the future do not seem to allow a credible transmission anymore. Another horizon of expectation is to be found out. Maybe opponents and supporters of the recent educational reforms in the French-speaking Community of Belgium have not been careful enough for that.
