La prospective est un processus systématique et multidisciplinaire d’analyse et d’interprétation des données de l’environnement axé sur la construction de scénarios futurs qui soutiennent la prise de décision des organisations. Il n’existe pas beaucoup de recherches prouvant la relation entre la prospective et la transformation numérique d’un point de vue quantitatif, ce qui contribue à l’adoption discontinue du processus dans les organisations. Cette recherche cherche à prouver l’existence de cette relation entre la prospective et la transformation numérique des entreprises à partir d’une approche quantitative et à travers l’application d’une enquête contenant un instrument de recherche d’échelles déjà validées, adaptées via Delphi. Les résultats ont été analysés sur les logiciels IBM SPSS Statistics et Smart PLSS, avec 64 réponses valides au sein de l’échantillon proposé, composé de professionnels et de consultants responsables de la transformation numérique ou en prospective. Les résultats valident l’hypothèse proposée et discutent de nouvelles possibilités de recherche basées sur ce qui a été trouvé et étant donné la pertinence du sujet dans le contexte de la transformation sociale.

Foresight is a systematic and multidisciplinary process of environmental data analysis and interpretation focused on building future scenarios that support organizations’ decision-making. There is not much research proving the relationship between foresight and Digital Transformation from a quantitative perspective, which contributes to the discontinuous adoption of the process into organizations. This study seeks to prove the existence of this relation between foresight and DT on firms from a quantitative approach and through the application of a survey containing a research instrument of already validated scales, adapted via Delphi. Results were analysed on software IBM SPSS Statistics and Smart PLSS, with 64 valid responses inside the proposed sample, composed of professionals responsible for digital transformation in their firms and DT or foresight consultants. The findings validate the proposed hypothesis and discuss new research possibilities based on what was found and given the relevance of the subject in the social transformation context.
