Le livre de Buchar Ahmed, « Géographie du Sahara Occidental », n’est pas un livre conventionnel. L’auteur lui-même ne l’est pas non plus, puisqu’en tant qu’enfant, il a été photographié avec l’auteur du Petit Prince. L’approche de l’objet d’étude est totalement nouvelle et d’un haut niveau d’exhaustivité, sans oublier l’essence revendicative qui transparaît dans l’ensemble du texte. De plus, les difficultés et les obstacles à sa publication, la propre biographie de l’auteur et le contexte politique dans lequel il a vécu en font indubitablement un texte singulier.

Buchar Ahmed’s book, “Geography of Western Sahara,” is not a conventional book. Neither is the author, who, as a child, was photographed with the author of “The Little Prince.” Given the circumstances, the book’s publication can be considered a revolutionary act that breaks with the writing tradition followed up until now. This article’s approach to the subject of study itself is entirely new and highly comprehensive, without forgetting the political imperatives permeating the text. The difficulties and obstacles leading up to the book’s publication, the author’s own biography, and the political context in which Ahmed lived make the text unique among others of its kind.

El libro Geografía del Sáhara Occidental no es un libro convencional. Tampoco lo es el autor, que, de niño, se fotografió con el autor de El principito. El acercamiento al propio objeto de estudio es totalmente nuevo y de un alto nivel de exhaustividad, sin olvidar la esencia reivindicativa que se palpa en todo el texto. Además, las dificultades y obstáculos para su publicación, la propia biografía del autor y el contexto político que le tocó vivir, lo convierten sin lugar a dudas en un texto peculiar.
