RésuméDans cet article, le manuscrit de la bibliothèque municipale d’Anvers B.89420 est identifié comme un manuscrit autographe d’Hendrik Van Heessel. Ce héraut était originaire de Gueldre. Il servit l’empereur Sigismond de Luxembourg (1411-1437) et ses successeurs et termina sa carrière au service de Philippe le Bon, duc de Bourgogne (1419-1467). La succession des textes et des images du manuscrit d’Anvers est liée à la biographie de Van Heessel.

Van Heessel herald hailed from Guelders, in the Low Countries. He served emperor Sigismond (1411-1437) and his successors, and ended his career in the service of Philip the Good (1419-1467).
