Il esquissetout d’abord un panorama de l’évolutionde ces liens psychosociologie-formationtelle qu’elle ressort de l’analyse des sommaires de la revue Connexions au coursde ces trente dernières années. Puis ilmontre combien l’histoire récente de laformation a été marquée par un processuscontinu de rationalisation qui se traduitpar l’emprise croissante d’une démarche importée des sciences de l’ingénieuret conditionne une perte relative d’influence de la psychosociologie. Enfin, ilmet en évidence l’impasse sur laquelledébouche ce mouvement sans fin derationalisation et le rôle que peut jouer lapsychosociologie d’orientation cliniquepour réinventer une autre manière defaire de la formation.
