Il s’agit d’une observation comparée entre le diagnostic établi par les examens cliniques des patients et les propriétés de diagnostic du procédé traditionnel du massage avec le cobaye (cochon d’Inde, Cavia porcellus ou Cavia cobayo). Les résultats de ce travail reposent sur l’observation de plus de 600 massages avec le cobaye, depuis le mois de juin 1986, parmi lesquels 406 correspondent à un travail hebdomadaire systématique en 1992 (171 cas) et 1993 (235 cas). Ils s’appuient aussi sur une révision bibliographique exhaustive de ce sujet [1, 6].

This is a compared observation between the diagnosis assessed by the clinical examinations of patients and the diagnostic properties of the traditional procedure of massage with guinea-pig (guinea-pig, Cavia porcellus ou Cavia cobayo). The results of this study are based in the observation of more than 600 massages with guinea-pig, since June 1986, among which, 406 correspond to a systematic weekly work in 1992 (171 cases) and 1993 (235 cases). They are also founded on n exhaustive bibliography revision of the subject [1,6].
