Après avoir fait un bilan des données que nous possédons sur les frises de l’Érechtheion, celle du corps central et celle du porche nord, en particulier sur leurs longueurs respectives, l’auteur expose sa reconstitution, à partir de plusieurs fragments, d’une figure masculine nue en pied, qui devait être à l’origine fixée sur une plaque de fond de la frise du corps central.
