From the wave to the world, from reflection to the subjectIn this work, the authors put forward two hypotheses to explain narcissistic suffering : the intensity of the narcissistic-objectal antagonism (and the solipsistic temptation) and the deficiency of the metaphorical capacity (which prevents patients from overcoming this by sharing the experience of the world). They base this on their clinical experience, and a theoretical reflection that draws on psychoanalysis and philosophy. They attempt to draw out some of its therapeutic implications.

In dieser Arbeit unterbreiten die Autoren zwei Hypothesen zur Klärung des narzisstischen Leidens : Die Intensität des Antagonismus : narzisstisch/objektorientiert (und die Versuchung des Solipsismus), die mangelhafte Fähigkeit, Metaphern zu bilden (was die Patienten daran hindert, diesen Antagonismus durch einen Austausch darüber, wie sie die Welt erfahren, zu überwinden). Die Autoren stützen sich hierbei auf ihre klinische Erfahrung und eine theoretische Reflexion, die sich an die Psychoanalyse und die Philosophie anlehnt.
