Cet article présente la construction sociale d’un collectif d’artistes trentenaire qui se présente pour les membres comme une expérience partagée stimulante pour la création et comme lieu de revitalisation individuelle. Le collectif parvient à rendre son activité viable économiquement alors même que le désir de vivre d’une production artistique se heurte aux impératifs et aux logiques du marché. Il s’agit d’examiner la manière qu’a ce collectif de former un monde commun socialement alternatif en identifiant les différentes fonctions que remplit le groupe et les organisateurs qui structurent le commun, notamment le rapport à la filiation. L’auteur cherchera à savoir si ce collectif est simplement la construction d’un monde particulier ou s’il participe à faire société autrement.

This article presents the social construction of a collective of artists in their thirties that presents itself to its members as a stimulating shared experience for creation and as a place for individual revitalization. The collective manages to make its activity economically viable, even though the desire to live off of one’s artistic production collides with the imperatives and logic of the market. The aim of this article is to examine the way in which this collective forms a socially alternative common world by identifying the different functions fulfilled by the group and the organizers who structure the common world, especially the relationship with filiation. The issue is raised as to whether this collective is simply the construction of a particular world or whether it participates in doing society differently.
