RésuméL’inter-organisation, au sein de laquelle se développe aujourd’hui l’innovation engendre un horizon d’analyse renouvelé auquel n’échappe pas la problématique des brevets. Dans une démarche analytique, nous chercherons à fournir une explication concernant le rôle stratégique de l’inter-organisation dans la création et la gestion de l’innovation protégée, ou pas, par le brevet. Après une synthèse de la littérature, nous aborderons le rôle stratégique des brevets avant de proposer une synthèse sur les formes d’appropriabilité au sein de l’inter-organisation par le biais d’une classification. Inter-organization and patent: A proposal for classificationInter-organization, within which innovation currently develops, induces a new way of thinking about patents. The aim of this article is theoretical: we will try to suggest an explanation concerning the strategic role of inter-organization within the field of creating and managing innovation protected or not protected by patents. As a first step, a survey of key concepts will be given before telling the strategic role of patents and then providing a classification about the forms of appropriability within the inter-organization.
