L’énonciation d’une double négation inaugure la reprise d’un deuxième temps d’une cure après une interruption décidée par la patiente. Cette formulation surprend l’analyste qui, dans un temps second, s’étaye sur « La négation ». Cet appel au père de la psychanalyse a permis de tiercéiser des mouvements transféro-contre-transférentiels particulièrement intenses. Par des allers-retours entre les deux temps de l’analyse, l’auteure évoque une première période marquée par la difficulté de la patiente à se souvenir et à accomplir le travail de deuil lié à la perte de sa mère ; une période de latence, caractérisée par l’interruption du traitement, véritable agir de transfert, a permis à la patiente d’assumer une position active. Elle a ainsi quitté l’objet pour ensuite, lors de la deuxième partie du traitement, le rechercher et le (re)trouver vivant. La double négation traduit alors, chez cette patiente, le début d’un nouveau fonctionnement psychique où la compulsion à soigner laisse la place à la remémoration de premiers souvenirs d’enfance.

The enunciation of a double negation inaugurated the resumption of a second period of an analysis after an interruption initiated by the patient. This formulation surprised the analyst who, retrospectively, drew support from the article "Negation". This appeal to the father of psychoanalysis made it possible to give a third dimension to particularly intense transference-countertransference movements. By going back and forth between the two periods of analysis, the author evokes an initial period marked by the patient’s difficulty in remembering and accomplishing the work of mourning linked to the loss of her mother; a period of latency, characterized by the interruption of the treatment, a real transference acting out, enabled the patient to adopt an active position. She thus left the object and then subsequently, during the second part of the treatment, looked for it again and (re)found it alive. The double negation reflected, in this patient, the beginning of a new mode of psychic functioning in which the compulsion to treat gave way to the recollection of early childhood memories.

La enunciación de una doble negación retoma un segundo tiempo de una cura luego de una interrupción que decidió la paciente. La formulación sorprende al analista que, en un segundo tiempo, se apoya en “La negación”. El recurrir al padre del psicoanálisis va a permitir tercerizar movimientos transfero-contratransferenciales extremadamente intensos. A través de idas y vueltas entre los dos tiempos del análisis, la autora evoca un primer periodo marcado por la dificultad de la paciente para recordar y realizar el trabajo de duelo relacionado con la pérdida de su madre; un periodo de latencia, caracterizado por la interrupción del tratamiento, verdadero actuar de transferencia, permitirá a la paciente asumir una posición activa. De esta manera, ella dejó el objeto para luego en la segunda parte del tratamiento, buscarlo y (re)encontrarlo vivo. La doble negación traduce pues, en la paciente, el inicio de un nuevo funcionamiento psíquico en el que la compulsión de cura deja paso a la rememoración de los primeros recuerdos de la infancia.
