Gérard Szwec a considérablement contribué à son développement à partir de son expérience avec d’autres types d’organisations psychiques. Reprenant un de ses premiers articles où il établit un parallèle entre rêves typiques et séance de psychodrame pour montrer la présence d’une défense hystérique qui vise à resexualiser la pensée chez les patients convenablement mentalisés, une description est proposée des mécanismes de répression tels qu’ils se présentent chez les patients somatisants au psychodrame.

Individual psychoanalytic psychodrama has become a therapeutic indication for patients with physical symptoms at Ipso. Gérard Szwec has contributed considerably to its development thanks to his experience with other types of psychic organizations. Drawing on one of his first articles, where he establishes a link between typical dreams and a psychodrama session in order to demonstrate the presence of a hysterical defense mechanism that aims to re-sexualize the thoughts of patients who are sufficiently capable of mental representation, this article offers a description of repressive mechanisms present in patients who have physical symptoms with regard to psychodrama.
