Ou bien le pécheur est-il réconcilié avec l’Église parce qu’il est d’abord réconcilié avec Dieu ? La notion de res et sacramentum a été utilisée pour répondre à cette question. Cet article fait le point en parcourant les données du Magistère, la pratique de l’Église ancienne et la réflexion de quelques théologiens.
