RésuméIl ne semble pas exister de psychothérapie spécifique destinée au domaine exclusif de la sexologie. Par contre, les différentes techniques psychothérapeutiques connues sont prêtes à prendre en charge des problèmes relatifs à la sexualité, mais de la même manière que n’importe quel autre trouble psycho-émotionnel.Toujours est-il qu’en ce qui concerne la sexualité, une adaptation de toute technique psychothérapeutique à la situation particulière à chaque patient est souvent indispensable.

A specific psychotherapeutic technique concerning the sexological field practically does not exist. In fact, all known psychotherapeutic schools can use the same method against sexual disturbances or against any other psycho-emotional disorder as well.Nevertheless, in the field of sexual disturbances an adaptation of the psychotherapeutic technique to each clinical situation seems not only important, but very often absolutely necessary.
