RésuméTout en démontrant deux dimensions du travail artistique (l’organisation sociale du travail artistique et la fabrication de la proposition artistique), nous testons l’hypothèse selon laquelle l’exercice du travail artistique participe à fragmenter le paradigme de l’artiste créateur hérité du xixe siècle comme modèle de construction identitaire de l’artiste, actualisant ainsi un questionnement de fond sur la place sociale de l’artiste aujourd’hui. Notre propos s’appuie essentiellement sur une analyse sociologique des propos d’artistes relatifs au travail artistique sans nous cantonner à un champ artistique.

Artistic work: crumbeling of the model of the artist as a creator ?While demonstrating two dimensions of the artistic work (the social organization of the artistic work and the manufacture of the artistic proposition), we test the hypothesis according to which the exercise of the artistic work participates to split up paradigm of the creative artist inherited from 19-th century as model of construction identital of the artist, updating so a thorough questioning on the social place of the artist today. Our comment leans essentially on a sociological analysis of the comments of artists relative to the artistic work without quartering us in an artistic field.

¿El trabajo artístico : desmoronamiento del modelo del « artista creador »?Demostrando dos dimensiones del trabajo artístico (la organización social inherente al trabajo artístico y la manufactura de la propuesta artistíca), examinamos una hipótesis que sostiene que el ejercicio del trabajo artístico participa en la fragmentación el paradigma del artista creador heredado del siglo XIX como modelo de construcción de la identidad del artista. De esta manera actualizamos un cuestionamiento profundo acerca del lugar que actualmente ocupa el artista en el ámbito social. Nuestra propuesta se apoya en un análisis sociológico del discurso de los artistas mismos en relación al trabajo artístico, esto sin limitarnos al campo artístico.
