The world has changed, but certainly not the structure unmasked with emerging phenomena. In the past, men, convinced of their ultimate power, lived their Don Juanism as a male feat. Today, women, whose desire has been freed from phallocentric obstacles, prove that the sexual compulsion of a subject (woman or man) is, at first, a type of angst. Before being the expression of sexual freedom, it was, rather, a wandering of desire, by the very fact of the internal impossibility of drives. This brings the desire of both anatomical sexes to the same structural plane. And, in fact, in relation to both partners, it brings them back to their own internal traumas at the very root of desire.
