En analysant des créations picturales issues de publications socialistes, communistes et anarchistes d’Europe et d’Amérique latine, émises durant les six premiers mois du conflit, ce travail vise à comprendre pourquoi le camp républicain espagnol représenta dès les premiers jours de la guerre civile, un enjeu, un modèle et un idéal.

By analyzing various examples of art pieces and illustrations published in a number of socialist, communist and anarchist publications in Europe and Latin America, we seek to understand why the Spanish Republican camp has been an issue, a model and an ideal for these parties since the outset of the war.
