520			_aRésuméCet article se propose de comprendre la manière dont un univers science-fictionnel comme Star Wars s’articule dans la réalité sociale. L’individu qui s’aventure sur les traces de Luke Skywalker se laisse envahir par un imaginaire initiatique qui vient considérablement bouleverser sa manière d’être dans le monde : la rencontre avec le héros exemplaire est une ouverture au sacré qui participe à la construction sociale de l’individu. Ce qu’il convient de déterminer également, c’est l’intentionnalité du fan à travers certaines pratiques sociales comme le ciné-tourisme ou le cosplay.
520			_aThis article aims to understand how a science-fictional universe like Star Wars is articulated to social reality. The individual who follows the steps of Luke Skywalker lets himself invade by an initiatic imaginary which shatters its way of being. The meeting with the exemplary hero is an opening to the sacred who takes part in social construction of the individual. The need turns out to determine the intentionality of the fan through some social practices like movie-tourism or cosplay.
