Le processus d’harmonisation internationale de la lutte antidopage a mené à la création de l’Agence mondiale antidopage (AMA) en novembre 1999. Notre étude porte sur les tensions autour des dispositifs de contrôle, mis en œuvre par l’AMA, relatifs à la localisation des sportifs. Nous appuyant sur un corpus de sources hétérogènes, nous montrerons que l’application des Standards Internationaux de Contrôle, particulièrement la mise en œuvre du logiciel ADAMS, fait émerger deux séries d’arguments qui témoignent des principes moraux choisis par les acteurs en fonction de la façon dont ils appréhendent les contraintes qui pèsent sur eux au quotidien. | ||

The international anti-doping harmonization process led to the creation of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in November 1999. This article aims to describe and analyse the quarrels on testing devices specialized on athlete whereabouts implemented by WADA. Based on heterogeneous data, we will demonstrate that the enforcement of the International Standard for Testing – especially the implementation of the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS) – brings two series of arguments to the fore. They highlight the moral principles chosen by the actors according to the way they perceive the constraints they meet in their daily work. | ||
